{Amber and Alex} Married

I knew I liked Amber from the very first email I received from her. She was enthusiastic and genuine and I very much hoped I would be able to work with she and her fiance, Alex. When they hired me I was so excited to get to know them, and also to shoot my first wedding on Peaks Island.

I met Amber and Alex for the first time for their engagement pictures in Portland in March. We laughed so much during the shoot and I knew I would love their wedding. September arrived quickly and their day was absolutely perfect. The morning rain clouds quickly cleared to gorgeous blue skies (which were such a treat as they matched their colors so perfectly), and eventually a stunning late summer sunset.

The girls got ready in a cabin on the far side of the island. It was a little walk in, but was so charming and secluded. A great spot for mimosas, good music, and hair and makeup.

The ceremony and reception were both held at The Inn on Peaks Island.

I loved the blue and white lanterns in the tent - so pretty!

Check out this sunset! Gorgeous! I grabbed Amber and Alex and just as we got down the hill the sun went behind a cloud..I was so bummed!

I can't believe how many cake smashes I have seen this year! I love that my couples let loose and have fun!

Amber and Alex, you are seriously two of the most genuine people I have ever met. I loved getting to know you and you have a beautiful love between you two. Thank you for including me in your day and I wish you all the best!
