A Walk in the Park

This week's travels bring me to New Hampshire. I had a few hours before my last appointment today and the time when I was able to check into my hotel room, so my GPS and I connected and I found myself at White Park in Concord. It was a gorgeous day with warm temperatures and the park was full of fun things just waiting to be photographed. Fully stocked with a baseball field, pond, playground, and more, I had a blast poking around with my camera and taking in the gorgeous day.

I love shots of benches, they always make me wonder who it was that loved this spot.

This makes me wonder who SJD was and who it was that loved him or her so much.

Walden

As you may or may not know, in my "other life" I work as an Admission Counselor for the University of Southern Maine. A large part of my job is recruiting, which requires significant travel during the fall months. This week is my first trip, and I decided to bring my camera along, just in case.

As luck would have it, on my way to Boston yesterday, I found myself on the road that leads to Walden Pond. I've been there before, a few years ago when I lived in the city, but never with my camera in tow. I decided to make a pit stop and see where my creativity could take me, in a place that is known for inspiring that very thing.

I think it may have been the perfect day to stop in. The weather was a bit chilly so the beach was near empty, and the leaves had just started to change on just a few of the trees, giving the color they held a nice pop. I spent about an hour walking around the pond and its wooden paths, taking in the early fall day and the peacefulness of the lake.

Welcome!

Welcome to my website, and my blog. Its my hope that you will both read and share with your friends my photos and stories.

As you may have read in my bio, taking pictures has always been something that has been a passion of mine, and I'm so fortunate to finally have the tools to really move forward with photography. I keep my camera attached to me most places I go, so I will be updating my blog with both booked photo sessions and my own adventures.

Please comment, feel free to make suggestions, and of course, enjoy. Its such a pleasure to share my view with all of you. :)
