Caryn and Patrick, 5.30.10

A few weeks ago, Caryn and Patrick were married on the gorgeous grounds of the Alamoosook Lakeside Inn in Orland, Maine. The Memorial Day weekend weather was perfect, and the couple enjoyed blue skies, and great company as they recited their vows. It was great to work with these two again, after having shot their engagement photos just a few weeks before on the UMaine Orono campus.

I loved all of the gorgeous details. Check out these killer shoes! I loved them!

Such a glowing bride!

Everyone hammed it up for me for their groomsmen/bridesmaid photos!

The flower girl and ring bearer were adorable! They were very nervous about their roles, so they switched!! The flower girl was more than happy to carry the pillow, and the ring bearer did an awesome job tossing petals...it was hilarious!

I think I can officially say this is the most adorable grandpa on the planet. He had me laughing all night long, and always knew where the camera was!

This was definitely a dancing crowd!

Caryn and Patrick, thank you so much for including me in your gorgeous day. I wish you all the best!

Cascade Park Family Session, Just a Tease

I was supposed to meet up with Kelly, Luke, their beautiful children Lauren and Carson, and Kelly's mom and step-father last weekend, but we sadly were rained out. This Saturday wasn't looking to promising either but we decided to risk it all, and ended up with a perfect evening for some family pictures at Cascade Park in Bangor. Here are a few teasers, I know Kelly's so excited to see, and I can't blame her. Her family is beautiful and they were all so much fun to work with, and I'm excited to go through all of the shots!

Stay tuned for more!

Kirsten and Ryan, Just a Tease

I had a wonderful day today in the Old Port with bride and groom Kirsten and Ryan. The couple decided on a very small, intimate wedding at Dimillo's Restaurant, and between the people, the food, and the gorgeous scenery, I couldn't think of a better way to spend my Friday! Here are few teasers. I had so much fun photographing these two, and I cannot wait to go through the rest!

Miah and Marie, Just a Tease

Last weekend I attended the wedding of some good friends. I went as a guest, not as the photographer, but Marie asked me if I would mind taking some pictures as they got ready for the big day, and of course I couldn't resist taking some more while at the wedding. Here are a few teaser shots of her beautiful dress and their first dance, and I'll be sure to post some more soon!

Gilsland Farm Family Session

I had never heard of Gilsland Farm in Falmouth, until my friend Erika suggested it for photos of her family. The farm is huge, with so many paths leading through gorgeous fields and providing beautiful views of the ocean. I'm determined to go back once the peonies are in bloom as they had rows and rows of plants just waiting to add splashes of color everywhere!

Erika, Adam, and Baby James were great companions as we worked our way around the farm. Erika and Adam asked for just a few family shots, and lots of shots of James, and what an easy task that was as he is such an adorable little guy!!! Here are some of my favorites!

Erika, Adam, and James, thanks for spending the morning with me and introducing me to such a beautiful place so close to home! Enjoy!

Yesterday I shot Caryn and Patrick's wedding at the Alamoosook Lodge in Orland, Maine. The weather was perfect for this beautiful couple, and their family and friends. Here are a few teaser pics to hold them through until I go through the rest! Enjoy!

A Coastal Family Session

When a friend and former colleague of mine, Gail, asked me to take pictures of her family, I was thrilled. I hadn't seen her girls in a few years, and couldn't wait to see how much they'd grown. In fact, the last time I saw Vylet, the youngest, she was just a few weeks old, so it was great to spend a morning with the family. We found ourselves at Spring Point Ledge Lighthouse in South Portland, one of my favorite spots in the area. Gail, Josh, Alyvia, and Vylet were a breeze to photograph, and it was fun to explore the area together. Here are some of my favorites from the bunch!

Thanks guys for such a fun time!
