{Kim and Jason} Married

I first met Kim and Jason for their engagement photos last January at Deering Oaks Park in Portland. I am about as far from a cold weather person as one can get (and yes, I live in Maine), so I was nervous about spending an hour outside in January with these two. I can't tell you how much fun I had with them as Kim and I worked to get Jason excited for pictures (I don't think we ever got there, but we got close!), and I absolutely could not wait to see them again at their September wedding.

September arrived in the blink of an eye, and Kim and Jason had literally the perfect early fall day for their wedding at the stunning Ski Esta in Newry, Maine. The days leading up to the wedding were very cold and rainy, but on the wedding day itself it was sunny and warm, allowing for gorgeous views of the Sunday River ski resort as they said "I do."

I absolutely adore babies, and this little guy was just irresistible! Look at those cheeks!

  

Kim's father passed away, so she walked herself halfway down the aisle, when Jason met her and they finished the walk together. I absolutely loved this.

Yes, ladies, those are Carhartts! Jason wore Carhartts for their engagement pictures. When I saw Kim the morning of the wedding, I jokingly asked her if he would be wearing them that day too. Much to my surprise, she said YES! I think they looked awesome with the yellow oxford shirts. I had no idea Carharrts could look so classy. Well done boys!

Kim's mom surprised her by bringing her to the dance floor for a mother/daughter dance to will.i.am's song "I Got it From My Momma." If you don't know it, Google it, and you will see why the crowd is laughing so hard!

Kim and Jason, you are simply wonderful. You have a lot to look forward to together, and I have loved getting to know you over the past year! I wish you all the best!
