{Katie and Patrick} Engaged

Katie and Patrick's engagement session was my last before (finally!) kicking off this year's wedding season, and I couldn't have asked for a better couple, location, or day. I lived in Portsmouth for a year after I graduated college, and as we were walking around on a simply gorgeous Sunday afternoon, I remembered how many awesome nooks and crannies the city has.

Katie and Patrick are getting married in Dover, New Hampshire, next June,and hanging out with them for an hour and a half got me so excited for their big day. They are funny and affectionate, and I think their party is going to be a blast!

I absolutely adore this picture. Nothing makes me happier than getting my couples to just relax and be goofy!

I also love it when my couples don't mind getting a bit dirty for a great shot...they were standing in mud for this one..thanks guys!

At the edge of the park was this gorgeous shingled building. I have a slight obsession with all things coastal and shingled so I was pretty excited to find this amazing backdrop. Possibly too excited, but I think it paid off. :)
